SIMPLE STEPS TOWARDS IMPORTANT CONVERSATIONS

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness — it’s an important step in taking care of yourself. You deserve support, understanding, and tools to strengthen your mental wellbeing.

Support can take many forms, from talking to someone to connecting with groups or professionals. You might start small — like journaling or chatting with a trusted friend — and build from there.

Self-Help & Peer Support

  • Join a local men’s peer group where you can talk in a safe, non-judgemental environment.

  • Talking to a mental health professional — a counsellor, therapist, or GP — can give you personalised strategies, coping tools, and structured care.

If you’re unsure where to start, your GP should help point you toward NHS or private services.

If you’re ever worried that someone’s life is in immediate danger, call 999 or go directly to emergency services.
